  Beautiful setting and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding, would definitely recommend!

  Four of us had lunch yesterday. This is the fourth time of visiting and were extremely disappointed with the food. Inside my crab cake was an extremely nasty object which looked like a piece of netting. The waiter took it away and reported back from the Chef it was a piece of fresh ginger which had been grated. The main course Venison Pie was a soup bowl with what only can be described as extremely over cooked and stewed meat with a separate piece of pastry. We ordered side vegetables which were under cooked and needed a saw. Mentioned the veg to the waiter and he said he would pass on the comments to the Chef. The dinning room was not warm enough on a cold day. This restaurant in the past had always been good and worthy of recommendation. Unfortunately we shall not be visiting again.,
